I realised the qualities of Polymorph would make for great Cauliflower. I heated it in water a little below boiling temperature, and used half wrapped around cocktail sticks for stems, and the other half for the curd. While it was still soft, I jabbed the tops a bit for texture.
I used acrylics to give the cauliflower more colour, first a base of tan, followed by a dry brush of off-white. I also watered down some green acrylic to apply to the stems, for a more organic quality while retaining the rubbery look.
